Slatine, a small fishing and tourist village situated on the northeastern side of the island Čiovo, only 8 km from Trogir. It lies on the coast of Kaštela bay, opposite Split and Marjan hill.

Our Lady of Prizidnica This peaceful place is a local jewel and a must for
every visitor. It was built into the cliffs in harmony with nature by the hermits of the Roman Catholic Church in the 16th century.

Assumption of the Blessed Virgin MaryParish church dating from the beginning of the 17th century worth visiting, together with its elegant bell tower and the original altar painting from the 14th century.

Slatine is 7,5 km away from the mainland which is accessible by a draw bridge, and one nautical mile (1852 meters) away from the Split peninsula to the east. Administratively, it belongs to the town of Split.
